Mrs. Pattie Bell (Gentry) Stout, wife of John B. Stout, passed away last night at the family residence on Lexington
avenue at 9:30 o'clock after a long and patient illness. She had borne her long suffering with unfaltering Christian fortitude. She was admired by a wide circle of friends for splendid personality, and her kindly spirit. She was a native of Lincoln County and was a daughter of the late Valentine Gentry and Susan Engleman of Stanford. She had been a life-long member of the First Presbyterian Church and was active in all church work prior to her illness. The funeral services will be held at the residence tomorrow, Wednesday at 3:30 o'clock and the burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. The services will be conducted by Dr. E. M. Green. Deceased is survived by her husband, John B. Stout, and one son, Mr. Richard Stout, to whom is extended the sympathy of this community in their dark hour of sorrow.
