Mrs. Neil Julander of Sevier Passes Away Saturday

Mrs. Ardene Stewart Julander passed away at her home in Sevier Saturday night, January 14, after being ill for the past few weeks with influenza and resulting heart complications.


She was born in Annabella October 17, 1893. There she lived until she reached the age of 10. Then with her parents moved to Sevier where she resided until the time of her death.


On October 17, 1913, she was married to Neil Julander. Surviving are her husband and five children, four boys and one girl, Newel, Afton, Delos, Paul and Meir Beth. She also is survived by her mother, Mrs. D. T. Ross of Joseph, and three brothers, LaVar Stewart of Sevier, LaVerl Stewart of Salt Lake and Randall Stewart of Joseph.


At the time of her death she was secretary of the Sevier ward primary, and a teacher of the Sevier Relief Society. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 11 o'clock at the Sevier ward chapel. Interment was in the Joseph cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Adrene Julander, wife of Neil Julander of Sevier, who passed away at her home January 14, were held Wednesday, January 18, in the Sevier Ward Chapel.


Bishop Steve Baker conducted the services. Speakers were Bishop Parker of Joseph, H. Roland Tietjen of Monroe and Bishop Baker. Musical numbers, besides choir selections, were a vocal solo, "Lay My Head Beneath A Rose", by Mrs. E. Herring of Elsinore, for which Lucian Barney played a violin obligato; a violin solo by Miss Maida Stewart of Venice, and a vocal solo by Ezbon Jackman of Joseph. The opening prayer was by J.H. Levie, and Robert Wells of Joseph offered the benediction.


Interment was in the Joseph Cemetery. Sam Utley of Fillmore dedicated the grave.
