Effie S. Bridges, 83, 717 Lafayette Drive, died October 24, 1977, in a Salt Lake hospital of causes incident to age.
Born Dec. 1, 1893, Central, Utah, to William Isaac and Harriet Josephine Utley Stewart. Married Delbert Leroy Bridges Dec. 20, 1913, Richfield; later solemnized Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died August 4, 1966. Member 2nd Ward, Rose Park Stake.
Survivors: sons, daughters, Glenn S., William Rex, both Tooele; Mrs. Ray (Wilma) Loveless, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Kendall (Blanche) Ward, Mrs. Charles (Carol) Sorge, Mrs. Robert (Geniel) Court, all Salt Lake City; brother, LaVirl Stewart, Mesa, Arizona; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services Friday, 1 p.m., East Chapel, Rose Park Stake Center, 1200 West (illegible) North. Friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m., Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood road, and Friday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates. Funeral directors, Memorial Estates Mortuary.
