Charlene enjoyed fishing, bingo and spending time with her family at the lake.
Charlene is survived by her daughter, Yolanda Cook; three brothers, Richard Cross, Ronnie Cross and Danny Roach; four sisters, Carol Stinnett, Joy Shepherd, Bobbie, and Claudia; fifteen grandchildren, Kally Brown, Angela Davis, Stacy Mincey, Matthew S. Cook, Shirley Pingion, Mellissa Skidmore, Arethea Jenkins, Jessica Yinger, Matthew T. Cook, Heath Stone, Haydon Stone, Tiffany Stone, Dalina King, Hailey Stone and Heather Stone; two great grandchildren, Deeanna Hamons and Asia Cook; and five great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jack Stone; sons, Kenneth Pink-ston, Larry Pinkston and Herman Stone; sister, Jimmy Gross and son-in-law, Benny Cook.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
