Chas. E. Jenkins Passes Away This Morning
Charles Edward Jenkins, 69, who lived in the Shambo community, where he was manager of a ranch, died this morning at the Art Gastje place.
Jenkins was born in Falls City, Neb., on June 20, 1884. He married Miss Saima Munson Sept. 28, 1938 in Stanford.
Surviving are his wife and two children, Virgil and Mrs. Ray Copple, Greeley, Colo., and four grandchildren.
Jenkins first settled in Cascade in 1916, and later moved out to the Bear Paw mountains.

Funeral Services Conducted for Charles Jenkins
Funeral services for Charles Edward Jenkins, 69, who died July 2, was held yesterday afternoon at the Holland-Bonine Chapel with Rev. W.M. Bailey, Presbyterian minister, officiating.
Mrs. Emil Grams sang, "What a Friend" and "In the Garden", accompanied by Mrs. Viola Sande. Before the services began Mrs. Sande played "Headed For the Last Round-Up" in memory of the deceased.
Pallbearers were Charles Rubie, Richard Rubie, O.R. Rubie, Irwin Wink, Ben Underwood and Cecil Walker.
Interment was at Highland cemetery.
