Samuel S. Sheaffer, 72 120 N. Duke St. died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Saint Joseph Hospital after an illness of a week. He was a printer by trade and retired several years ago. Sheaffer worked for the old Examiner, later for the New Era and lastly for the Lancaster Press this city. His parents were the late George W. and Elvira Rannel Sheaffer. He is survived by six children Samuel S. Jr., Bertram L., Paul, Katherine, Rhoda wife of Frank Krall and Elizabeth wife of Russell Groom all of this city; also a brother Levi Sheaffer of Harrisburg, and a sister Katherine Sheaffer of Lancaster.
