He is survived by his loving family: his parents of Peoria; three sons, Gabriel and Jayden Grant of Peoria and JaKarious Grant of Springfield, Ill.; two daughters, Brayla and Jayda Grant, both of Peoria; two brothers, DeAngelo and Jadon Payton, both of Peoria; two sisters, Tamieka and Tamaria Gude, both of Peoria; his maternal grandparents, Charlene and the Rev. Alphonso Lyons Jr. of Peoria; his paternal grandparents, Rosie and Freddie Payton Sr. of Peoria; his great-grandmother, Lovonia Grant of Peoria; three adopted brothers, Lavelle, Trevon and Kenny Grant, all of Peoria; one adopted sister, LaTonia Grant of Peoria; a niece and nephew, Jeremiah and Julissia Mudd of Peoria; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
