Frances Anderson Smith, 91, of Bossier City, Louisiana, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at Riverview Nursing Center.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Ellisville Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Stewart.
Mississippi Smith was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith. She was a longtime resident of Jones County, but moved to Doyline, Louisiana to be closer to her son.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Anderson and Esther Mathews Anderson; and her husband, Welton Lamar Smith Sr.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Welton Lamar Smith Jr. and Patricia Anne Smith of Bossier City; sister, Mable McEwen of Rainbow City, Ala.; grandchild, Paul Wynn Smith; and great-grandchildren, Catherine Ann Smith and Joshua Oliver Smith.
Visitation was Sunday at Jones Funeral Home of Ellisville, which is in charge of arrangements.
