The funeral for Mrs. Eunice Collins Castleberry was held at Fredonia Hill Baptist Church by Rev. George Dodson and Rev. C.B. Anderson. She died September 12 from: Gram Negative Sepsis/Pneumonitis right & left lungs in Memorial Hospital. She was born April 1, 1914 to J. C. and Ruthie Pitts of Nacogdoches County where she spent her entire life. Eunice married Joseph Nobles Castleberry April 15, 1932, he survives her. Others surviving her are a daughter, Carol Ann Bland of Tyler; a son, Joseph (Buddy) Castleberry of Nacogdoches, three brothers, Olan Collins, John C. Collins, and Howard Collins of Nacogdoches, three sisters, Mrs. Ludy Gaunt, Mrs. Joy Partin of Nacogdoches and Mrs. Louise Rotramel of Dallas; and five grandchildren.
Bill Townsley conducted the music while the pallbearers were Ronnie Gaunt, Richard Partin, Wayne Collins, Jerry Collins, Durwood Bridwell, Benny Bridwell, Lendon Bridwell, Jimmy Rotramel, Don Collins, and Tommy Collins. Cason Monk Funeral Home directed all arrangements.
