CAVE CITY, Ky. – Frances Sanders Blair, 72, of Cave City died at 3: 40 a.m. today at Caverna Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

The Hart County native was a housewife and member of New Hope Baptist Church.

She was the wife of the late Alvie Blair and a daughter of the late Eugene and Mary Turner Sanders.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bob Hunt Funeral Home with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include four sons, James and Murriel Blair, both of Horse Cave, David Blair of Owensboro and Bobby Blair of Cub Run; two daughters, Betty Jane Avely [sic] of Cub Run and Evelyn Manley of Louisville; one brother, Murriel Sanders of Cave City; one sister, Jean Jessie of Louisville; 23 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
