Obituary, THE RECORD - May. 23, 2006 GINGRICH, Margaret Philomena (nee Schlueter) - Peacefully, at People Care Nursing Home, Tavistock, Ont., on Saturday, May 20, 2006, in her 83rd year. Dear mother of sons, Edward John Gingrich and his wife Suzanne of London, Ont. and Kenneth Robert Gingerich and his partner, Michael Oakes of Toronto; loving grandmother of Michelle and her partner, Christopher Burgess of Ayr, Ont., John and his wife Robelyn of Vancouver, B.C., and Steven (Rocky) of Toronto; great-grandmother of Brian Burgess; sister of Harry; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alvin Martin, on December 29, 2000; her parents, August and Emma Schlueter (nee Duench); sisters, Augusta, Gertie, Nellie and Elsie; and brothers, Harold, Melvin, Albert, Norman and Nelson. Our mother was born in Linwood, Ont. on June 26, 1923 of good German stock; attended services at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Linwood; and was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a service in her memory on Wednesday, May 24 at 2 p.m. at David MacLeod Funeral Home, 617 King Street North, Waterloo, Ont. We wish to thank all the wonderful staff at peopleCare in Tavistock for the loving and compassionate care, and attention given to our mother over the past five years. Your energy, support and care made a huge difference for mom! Thank you! As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Division would be appreciated. We love you!
