Arthur B. Shay, an iron worker, of 313 Strawberry Avenue, died on Sunday at the Lebanon Emergency Hospital from the effects of an attack of influenza. He was aged about 36 years. Besides his wife, he leaves four children, Thelma, Mildred A., James C., and Pauline B. His death is greatly deplored by a host of friends. [Lebanon Daily News, October 21, 1918, Page 3]
