Mrs. Anderson was born in South Cottonwood Aug. 14, 1872, a son of Andrew and Maria Catherine Jenson Anderson.
He married Sarah Ellen Johnson in Richfield, Dec. 9, 1896. This marriage was solemnized later in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
A resident of Union nearly all his life, Mr. Anderson engaged in farming. At the time of his death, he was a member of the high priests quorum in the Union Second LDS Ward.
He is survived by his wife, four daughters, Mrs. Selia Dahlberg, Mrs. Ivell Darnell, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Fawn Price, Copperton; Mrs. Genevieve Christensen, Union; three sons, James T. Anderson, Oakland, Cal.; Guy L. Anderson, Salt Lake City; Joseph M. Anderson, Union; one sister, Mrs. Annie Christensen, Midvale; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Sandy City Cemetery.
