Lorenzo Turner was a son of David Turner and Rose Collier.

He married Lydia Hall February 14, 1882 in the L.D.S. temple in Saint George, Washington County, Utah.

The date of his burial is June 9, 1943.

DELTA--Funeral rites for Lorenzo Turner, 82, who died at his home June 5, were conducted June 9 at the LDS First ward chapel.

Mr. Turner was born May 11, 1861, in New York City, his parents having arrived there from England. They crossed the plains, arriving in Fillmore, and from there moved to Washington county, where Mr. Turner met and married Miss Lydia Hall on February 14, 1882.

He is survived by his widow, and the following sons and daughters, Mrs. Nora
Knight, Reuben L. Turner, Mrs. Viola Law and Orval L. Turner, all of Delta; D.
Loren Turner of Torrey; Mrs. Lemira Steele of San Diego, Cal.; Mrs. Sylvia Blake
of Bountiful; Mrs. Melva Blackburn of Great Falls, Mont.; Mrs. Verda Hudson of
Salt Lake City; 52 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, and one brother,
James Turner of Washington, Washington County, Utah.
