Schillinger, Mary, (d. 1966; b. 1891; TS; OC; obit) "Funeral services were held for Mrs, Mary Schillinger, age 71, Monday morning at Christ Lutheran Church with Pastor Werner J Fritz officiating. Interment was in the Odessa Cemetery under the supervision of Strate Funeral Home. Musical selections were sung by Mrs. Dorothy Gies and Mrs. Donna Schafer, accompanied by Mrs. Florence Stout. Pallbearers were grandsons: Terry Schillinger, Randy Schillinger, Bill Schillinger, Jr, Bill Nagel, Bruce Lesser and Dennis Schillinger. Mary Schillinger was born in Elks Rapid, Michigan, June 2, 1891. She was married to Fred Schillinger in 1910 and they lived on a ranch south of Odessa until 1947 when they retired to Stanwood, WA, where they lived until the death of her husband in 1947. Mrs. Schillinger then made her home in Sedro Wooley where she lived until her death on July 29, 1966. Survivors include two sons, William, Odessa and Norman, Spokane; 5 daughters: Mrs Mary Lou Price, Hayward, CA; Mrs. Shirley Nagel, Eugene, OR; Mrs. Elsie Yuckert, Bremerton, Mrs. Phylis Lesser, Spokane; Mrs. Mae Fritz, Sedro Woolley; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Roloff, Mrs. Amelia Sackmann, Mrs. Elsie Moellering, all of Odessa; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild."
