Andrew Harrison Flatt was the son of David L. and Lillian Ostella (Reese) Flatt. He married Dorothy Louise Haynes in Cape Girardeau County, Missouri on the 31st of October, 1942. Together they raised one son: William David; and four daughters: Sue Ellen, Vicki Lynn, Joy Pamela, and Julie Ann.
