Oldest member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Mrs. Ferdinand (Mary) Krummen, 98, a former resident of 212 East Cherry St., who had been a resident of Swiss Village the past seven years, died there of complications at 1:50 a.m. today.
A daughter of John and Elizabeth Barger Aeschliman, she was born Nov. 18, 1979 in Wells County. Her marriage to Ferdinand Krummen, who died in 1936, took place Feb. 5, 1904 in Wells County.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Alphie (Elizabeth) Bertsch of Berne, Mrs. Glen (Alice) Baumgartner of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Daniel (Clara) Fiechter and Mrs. Herman (Nina) Aeschliman, both of Decatur Route 4, three sons, Samuel and Ervin, both of Bluffton Route 4, and Harry of Bluffton Route 3, two brothers, John Aeschliman of Elgin, Ill., and Sam Aeschliman of Bluffton; four sisters, Mrs. Emma Isch of Swiss Village, Mrs. Minnie Isch of Bluffton, Mrs. Saloma Fiechter and Mrs. Jacob Graber, both of Bluffton Route 4, 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received after 7 p.m. at the Goodwin Memorial Chapel.
The body will be taken at noon Sunday to the Apostolic Christian Church for services at 1 p.m. with Rev. Orville Ringger officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Preferred form of memorial is a contribution to Swiss Village.
