Wife of Jacob Graber of Bluffton Route 4, Mrs. Elizabeth Graber, 85, died at 11:30
a.m. Friday at Clinic Hospital from complications. Mrs. Graber had been a resident
the last 10 months at Swiss Village in Berne. Born Feb. 9, 1886 in Wells County, she
was a daughter of John and Elizabeth Barger Aeschliman. Her marriage Oct. 18, 1919
in Hillsdale Mich, was to Jacob Graber, who survives. A lifelong resident of Wells
County, Mrs. Graber was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. Surviving, in
addition to the husband, are a son, Glen Graber of Bluffton Route 4; two daughters,
Mrs. Harry (Betty) Steffen of Bluffton Route 3 and Mrs. Roger (Pauline) Kaehr of
Decatur Route 4; two sisters, Minnie Isch of Bluffton and Salome Fiechter of
Bluffton Route 4; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Calling will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Goodwin Memorial
Chapel.
The body will be taken at 9 a.m. Monday to Apostolic Christian Church, where
services will be at 10 a.m.
Rev. Orville Ringger and Rev. Robert Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in the
church cemetery.
