Born May 1, 1891, in Jefferson County, daughter of Thomas and Mary McCLEARY SUTHERLIN. The family home is located four miles northeast of Eldon. Married J. J. HAYDEN Apr. 28, 1915. Member Eldon Methodist Church.
Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Harold JAMESON, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. J. O. CLINGAN, Fairfield; and Mrs. Dean COLTRAIN, Moravia; and three sons: Leonard, Minneapolis, Minn.; Maynard, Indianola, Iowa; and Adrian of Oelwein; 15 grandchildren. She was a sister-in-law to Mrs. Ruth SUTHERLIN, Fairfield. Preceded in death by one son and one brother. Fell Cemetery.
