Micael Bolton Kirkendall was born Sept 1, 1872 at Camas Valley, Douglas county, Oregon and died Feb 6, 1920 at the Springfield hospital. He was in poor health for several months being in the hospital nearly three weeks. He was married to Lottie Smith Aug 29, 1905. To this union six children were born, Virgil, Gladys, Claude, Gertrude, Goldie and one baby which lived but a few minutes. The baby, Goldie, passed away at the Springfield hospital Feb 3, 1920 at the age of one year.
They moved from Douglas county to Saginaw in 1918, where they have resided ever since. He is survived by his wife and four children, also his mother, Mrs. James A Kirkendall of Saginaw, Ore. Also six sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Vona Burch and Mrs. Effie Wilson both of Camas Valley, Ore.; Mrs Mary Cooper, McMinniville, Ore.; Mrs. Pearl Wildry, Ephrata, Wash.; Mrs Lillie Cribbins, Powers, Ore.; Mrs. Jane Cappious, Saginaw, Ore.; Nathan Kirkendall and Jesse Kirkendall both of Camas Valley, Ore.; and Allen Kirkendall, Saginaw, Ore.
The funeral was held February 9, at 2:30 in the afternoon with interment in the Laurel Heights cemetery at Springfield.
