Coquille Woman Is Claimed By Death
Coquille, April 9, 1928-Lillian Violet Forrest, wife of James R. Forrest, passed away at the family home in Coquille Saturday night, April 7, at 11:30 from pulmonary tuberculosis, from which she had been a sufferer for some time.
Surviving besides the husband is a daughter, Frances Ann, aged 11; her mother, Mrs. Missouri Ann Kirkendall; sisters, Mrs. Vonia Burch, Mrs. Jane Cappious, Mrs. Effie Wilson, Mrs. Mary Cooper, and brothers, Nathan Kirkendall and Jess L. Kirkendall and Allen B. Kirkendall.
The funeral was held at Camas Valley this afternoon at 1 o'clock, that having been the former home of the deceased, and the services were conducted by Rev. N. Ferdinand of the First Methodist Episcopal Church.
