Two Schoenfeld siblings married two Schumaker siblings:
Charles August Schumaker married Wilhelmina Anna "Minnie" Schoenfield, the daughter of Johann Gottlieb Schoenfeld and Mathilde Michling Schoenfeld, on 28 December 1899 in Sublime, Texas.
Charles' sister, Dorathea, had married Minnie's brother, Paul Schoenfield, the previous year.
