Pauline Benyo was born to John and Mary (Maty/Matej) Benyo on June 21, 1914 in Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Pauline graduated from Liberty High School in 1930 or 1931. She later attended the Nurses College at Allentown Hospital. Sometime after graduating from the Nurses College she became the Steven's School in Fountain Hill.
On February 26. 1938, she married Harold Arthur Gibbs, Jr. at St. Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church. The reception was held at the historic Sun Inn in Bethlehem.
