Funeral services for Henry Seurer, 76, who died at his home last Wednesday, following a lingering illness, were held at 9 o’clock Saturday morning at the residence at Charlesburg, and at 9:30 o’clock at St. Charles church, with the Rev. Leo Binder officiating, and burial was made in the church cemetery.
Mr. Seurer was born in Charlesburg on January 6, 1867, and has always lived on the family homestead. He was married to Miss Theresa Klotz of Charlesburg on May 23, 1899.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Erwin, who lived on the homestead; three grandchildren, Reuben, Rita and Stella Mae; two brothers, John Seurer of New Holstein and Carl W. Seurer of Wahpeton, North Dakota; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Foertsch of Hankinson, North Dakota, Mrs. Hubert Rieden of Mt. Calvary, and Mrs. LaVerne Ann Herron of Jacksonville, Florida
