No inquest was held. The body was discovered by Mr Lotte. Funeral services were held at the Egypt Lutheran church Saturday with Rev H F W Meyer of Reardan officiating. Interment was in the Egypt Cemetery. Mrs Margaret Jetter Lotte was born March 5, 1867 in Germany. She came to Kansas on her first arrival in the US and then came to Davenport in 1901. She was married to Henry Lotte here in February 1901 and lived in this district until her death. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs Hulda Strickert of Govan, and one son, Roy Lotte, of Davenport. (Dav. Times-Tribune- July 7, 1927)
