Surviving ishis wife, Frances I.(Short) Tomlin of Summit Station, Ohio; two sons: Jack Short of Summit Station, Ohio, Charles Richard Short of Pataskala, Ohio; one daughter Sandy (Short) Maynard of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Marie Rainwater of West Union, Ohio; five grandchildren; three nieces and three nephews.
Mr. Tomlin was a retired supervisor with the Defense Construction Supply Company in Columbus, Ohio with 20 years of service; he was an Air Force Veteran and an avid bowler. Funeral Service was held at 2pm Saturday, October 11, 2003 at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union, Ohio with Rev. David Hopkins officiating. Burial followed at the Kirker Cemetery.
