Dr. Thomas H. Newcome, for many years a practicing physician in Armstrong county, died Tuesday, June 27, 1950, in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Alexander of Seaford, Del. Dr. Newcome was aged 82 years, seven months and 19 days, having been born November 8, 1867. For many years he practiced his profession at Templeton, Rimer, Redbank, Adrian, Chickasaw and Cowansville. He retired some years ago, and for a time made his home with his daughter, Mrs. McKinley Fair of Kittanning. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sally Fair, Largo, Fla., and Mrs. Bernice Alexander, Seaford, Del.; three grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Dr. Newcome's wife, Mrs. Flora (Sloan) Newcome, died several years ago. The body is expected to arrive this afternoon at the Snyder funeral home, Cowansville, where friends may pay their respects until Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services will be held at that hour in the Cowansville Presbyterian church. Rev. Walter Kennedy of Templeton will be in charge. Burial will be made in the Cowansville cemetery.
