Esther Jaeger, nee Ellison, 91, Washington, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2004, at Grandview Healthcare Center in Washington.
Mrs. Jaeger was born Sept. 23, 1912, in Protem, the daughter of Benjamin T. Ellison and wife Lucy Ellen, nee Greene.
She was united in marriage June 6, 1950, to Arthur H. Jaeger at St. Francis Borgia Church in Washington.
Mrs. Jaeger was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Washington.
She was employed as a public schoolteacher for many years.
Mrs. Jaeger was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur H. Jaeger, Dec. 24, 1995; three brothers, Clell, Thomas and Quincy Ellison; and three sisters, Katherine Garver, Edna Williams and Cordie Davidson.
She is survived by one brother, Woodrow Ellison and wife Geraldine, Raymore; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and -nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 31, at the Presbyterian Church of Washington with the Rev. Bill Vincent officiating.
Interment was in St. Francis Borgia Cemetery in Washington.
