She is survived by five daughters, Kathleen (Jim) Johnston of Peoria, Rebecca (Jerry) Thompson of East Peoria, Mary (Sal) Gazioglu of Plano, TX, Suellen (Mike) Papenhause of East Peoria and Colleen (Steve) Hutcherson of McKinney, TX; two sons, James Maloney and Patrick (Catherine) Maloney, both of Peoria; twenty-two grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one brother, William (Monica) Thill of Germantown Hills; one sister, Clara "Toots" (Hal) Mathes of Tremont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bette owned and operated Thill's Flowers and Gifts and retired in 1979. She also worked for the Peoria Convention and Visitors Bureau. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, St. Bernard's Mother's Club and the Catholic Women's League.
Services were entrusted to Wright and Salmon Mortuary of Peoria, Illinois.
