Died at Home of R. J. Stockdale, Saturday, March 1.
On Saturday March 1st, at the home of her daughter Mrs. R. J. Stockdale near Mt. Vernon occurred the death of Mrs. Robert E. Damon.
She had been sick for some time but her death came rather suddenly. Her age was 61 years, to months and 22 days. She is survived by three daughters and four sons as follows: Mrs. Ellen Stockdale, Mrs. Amelia Green, Mrs. Emily Green and Edward Damon, all of Mr. Vernon and Walter Damon of Prairie City, John Damon of Dayville and Lucius Damon of Meadows, Idaho.
Funeral services were held at the church at Mt. Vernon Monday, and conducted by Rev. McClellan. Interment took place in the Canyon City cemetery.
