Survivors include his wife, Olivia Acord, four sons, Buford Acord of Strange, Ojla., Otie Acord of Harmony, Roscoe Acord of Yale, and Fred Acord of Brawley, Calif., two daughters, Mrs. Thula Stamps and Mrs. Billie Vanover, both of Brawley, Calif.; five brothers, Clarence Acord of Clarksville, Luther and Obie Acord, both of California, Tobe Acord of Valley Mills, Texas, and Giles Acord of Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Yates of Oark and Mrs. Thula Dix of Ozark, and 4 grandchildren.
Funeral service was conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7 at Yale. Burial was at Hill's Chapel Cemetery. Cox Funeral home directed the arrangements.
