On April 14, 1914 she married Arno W. Vogel in Kiel. He preceded her in death in 1960. She was employed at the former Hansen Glove Factory in Kiel for many years until her retirement. She was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Kiel, the Ladies Aide, a charter member of the Frauen Vrein and the G.U.G. Germania Society.
Survivors include one son, Arnold L. (Beverly) Vogel, Slinger; one daughter, Bernice (Howard) Bartelt, Milwaukee; one daughter-in-law, Sylvia Vogel, Kiel; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; one sister, Edna Aistrup, South Dakota. She is preceded in death by one son, Lester; one great grandson and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Kiel. Rev. Raymond C. Coombs, pastor officiating. Burial was in the Schleswig Cemetery, Rockville.
