She was eighty years old and born in Los Angeles, California on September 20, 1929.
She enjoyed camping and boating with the California Camping Club and spending time with her family. She was an avid reader and Angels fan. Helen was employed by Catalina Yachts in Woodland Hills for more than 3thirty years.
She is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years, Gene Kearin; their eight children, Diane Parkins, Robert Kearin, Lisa Blair, David Kearin, Art Kearin, Sheila Stevens, Shawn Kearin and Stephen Kearin; and ten grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Eleanor Graham of Palmdale; and one brother, Paul Dunham of Sacramento.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary, 11160 Stranwood Avenue, Mission Hills. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna, 18115 Sherman Way, Reseda, with burial services immediately following in the Mission Hills Catholic Cemetery.
A reception will be held at the Mission Hills Catholic Mortuary.
