MRS. ALLEN DIES IN PUEBLO
Word was receive] in Salida on Wednesday, that Mrs. William Allen had passed away in that city on July 31. The cause of her death has not been learned. Maggie J. Johnson was born in Indianapolis on September 18. 1879. In 1886, her parents came to Colorado, and 10 years later, moved to Salida. Miss Johnson was united in marriage to William H. Allen on June 14, 1904. Mr. and Mrs. Allen remained in Salida until recently when he accepted a position in Florida. Mrs. Allen was staying in Pueblo temporarily until she was to join her husband. Mr. Allen was in Florida when notified of his wife's death. Besides her husband, Mrs. Allen leaves three sisters, Mrs.F. M. Peairs and Mrs. C. C. White, both of Salida, and Mrs. G. P. Mongrain, of St. Elmo. She is also survived by her father, who lives in Pomona, California. Funeral arrangements have not been made, but the service will be held in Salida.
