Donald E. Bagby Jr., 62, Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Chenoa, died Saturday (Nov. 14, 2009) after a two-year battle with cancer.
Don was born Aug. 3, 1947, in Bloomington, the son of the Donald E. Bagby Sr. and Shirley J. Bagby of Marquette Heights and Chenoa.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Morgan Bagby, Nashville, Tenn.; daughters, Kim (Brad) Cordts, Pekin; Amie Amat, Bloomington; and Erin Bagby, Normal; grandchildren, Lindsi, Lexi, Cameron, Blake, Kyle, Conner and Lauren; brothers, Mike (Jane) Bagby, East Moline; Gary (Martha) Bagby, Tustin, Calif.; Tom (Sue) Bagby, Marquette Heights; Jim (Donna) Bagby, Chenoa; and Bill (Audrey) Bagby, Bloomington; nieces; nephews; cousins; and in-laws.
Don's passion was his work. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, traveling and being one with nature.
