Jean Marie [Lynch] Veness, born on August 23, 1947 to Marion and Robert Lynch, passed away on the evening of November 11, 2009. She is survived by her mother, Marion and her seven children, Kathleen Mortlock of Florida, Kevin Murdy of Mississippi, Herbert Jr. of Salado, Texas, Dawn Veness, Jean Veness, Lorena Veness, and Daniel and Bridget Veness; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. As well as 11 brothers and sisters, Robert, Geraldine, Patricia, Michael, Mary, Francis, Anna, Barbara, Richard, Sue and Sean Lynch and loving in-laws, Kenneth, Patricia and Fredrick Veness. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her husband, Herbert and brother, Brian. She worked as a housekeeping manager at Holiday Inn for ten years and at the Quality Inn. Regrettably, she had to discontinue her work when she became ill. Though, her work never ended with her family. She was more than a wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the light of her family; a warm glow that guided us through all our difficult problems. So as she leaves this world to join another, do not be sad. Remember the good times and smiles until we can once again enjoy her warmth. Services will be held in Brookfield Funeral Home, Federal Road Brookfield. Calling hours are Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. and will be immediately followed by burial in Wooster Cemetary in Danbury,
