Charles Wrbas Dies; Funeral Held Saturday

Charles A. Wrbas, 76, of West died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, September 8, at his home in West.

Funeral services were held at 12 noon Saturday at the Church of Assumption. Msgr. I.J. Valenta officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Aderhold-Moore Chapel.

Mr. Wrbas is survived by his wife; four sons, Jerry Wrbas of Dallas; Leo Wrbas of Hubbard, M-Sgt. Henry Wrbas of Pennsylvania and Otto Wrbas of Waco; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Altus of Leroy; 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one niece, Mrs. Marie Horak of Ennis.

Mr. Wrbas had lived in West since 1912. He was a retired carpenter.

Pallbearers were A.J. Weinberger, Frank Jezek, Jim Tobola, Raymond Hruska, Joe Svacek and J.F. Holacek.
