Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Mrs. Chas. Wrbas

Requiem mass for Mrs. Chas. (Angelina) Wrbas of 501 South Davis in West was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption with Rev. Oliver Johnson as celebrant.

Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Monday at Kotch Funeral Chapel in West.

Mrs. Wrbas died Sunday night in a West nursing home. She was 84.

She was born in Czechoslovakia and came to the United States in 1911. She had lived in the West area for 60 years.

Mrs. Wrbas was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption and a 50-year member of the KJZT Society No. 11 of West.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Wilma) Altus of Leroy; four sons, Jerry Wrbas of Dallas, Leo Wrbas of Hubbard, Henry Wrbas of Pittsburg, Pa.; and Otto Wrbas of Houston; one niece, Mrs. Gene Horak of LaMarque; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Bobby Altus, Tommy Altus, Johnny Altus, Ronnie Wrbas, David Wrbas and Gene Horak.
