Mrs. Plsek was born October 4, 1894 in Bryan. She moved to West and lived here until 1942, when she moved back to Bryan. She returned to West in 1979.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was married to Tom Plsek who died in 1927.
Rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 1983 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel by Msgr. George Doskocil.
Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, Rev. B.J. Zientek officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Robert W. Plsek, Sr. and Edward A. Plsek both of West; two daughters, Helen Wilcox of Groves and Alice Vincent of College Station; two sisters, Emma Petruy of Dallas and Hattie Lanicek of Bryan; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
