Funeral services for Albert Pinter of Route 2, Abbott, were held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Abbott. Rev. W. Pechal officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery at West. Rosary was recited at Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Hillsboro Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Pinter, a farmer and resident of Abbott for 35 years, died Monday, Jan. 18 in a Waco hospital. He was 66.
Mr. Pinter formerly lived at West. He married Miss Stella Hubik at West in 1913. She died in 1958.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Matula of West; three sons, Pat Pinter of Waco, William Pinter of West, A. A. Pinter of Abbott; two brothers, Anton Pinter of Floydada, Joe Pinter of West; four sisters, Mrs. R. L. Curtis of Lubbock, Mrs. Katie Barta of West, Mrs. Victor Krizan of San Angelo and Mrs. Frank Smajstrla of Amarillo; nine grandchildren.
