Annie (Merenda) Aimer Haley

Annie Aimer Haley, 86, of West, died Sunday, May 9, 1988 in a Waco nursing home.

Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel, West.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Msgr. Ray Widacki as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, West.

Mrs. Haley was born August 10, 1901, in West and lived there all of her life. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in West.

Survivors include: four sons, Ernest Aimer of Huntsville, Alabama, Alphonse Aimer of Orange, California, Albin J. Aimer of Northcrest and Joseph S. Aimer of Bellmead; one daughter, Mrs. Edmund (Frances) Barton of China Spring; one brother, Rudolph Merenda of Irving; three sisters, Frances Williams, Estelle Young and Albina Fisher, all of Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Bill Allen, Floyd Horton, Victor Pavlas, Louis Vrba, Jerry Merenda and Marvin Hegar.
