She was born June 4, 1925 in Forest City, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Strajnor Kotar.
She was retired from the CIA/Pentagon. She worked for over 10 years at Christmas Elegance. She was a member of NARFE, and a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Survivors include, two sons, Edward Patrick Stapleton and wife, Sherry, and Michael Frank Stapleton, all of Myrtle Beach; one sister, Mary Pierzga of Forest City, Pa.; three grandchildren, Eddie, Jackie, and Jade; and special friends, Ray Moritz, Sarah Moore, and Tom Conn.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2009 at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Southeastern Memorial Gardens.
