Services for Staff Sgt. Sharon K Roe, 35, will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Buffalo, with military rites by a contingent from Chanute Air Force Bace, Ill.

Visitation will be 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

She died Wednesday at Veterans Administration Hospital, Iowa City.

Sgt. Roe was an airplane mechanic in the Environmental System of the Air Force. She had been a member of the Air Force for 11 years, serving in Europe and last in Iceland.

She also had been stationed at Carswell Air Force Base, Fort Worth, Texas.

She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Calvary Lutheran Church, both of Buffalo.

Her hobbies included horseback riding, boating, skiing, camping and hiking.

Memorials may be made to Buffalo Ambulance Service or Camp Courageous.

Survivors include her parents, William and Betty Roe, Buffalo, and brothers, David Roe, Muscatine; Ronald Roe, Offutt Air Force BAse, Omaha; William Roe Jr. and Ralph Roe, Both of Davenport; and Dale Roe, Las Vegas
