MRS. PARKER DIES
Mrs. J.I. Parker, route one, Ocean Springs, died at 8:30 p.m., yesterday at her home in Latimer. She was 68 years old and a native of Jackson County.
She leaves her husband, 13 children, Iven and Herman of Ocean Springs, Samuel, Frank, and Norman of Mobile, Austin and Edward of Biloxi; six daughters, Mrs. G.W. Clifton, Latimer; Mrs. Edward Wenerski, Biloxi; Mrs. J.W. Doland, Mobile; Mrs. R.L. Reiling, Mrs. H.A. Schloff, Mrs. Henry Walton, Mobile; a step daughter, Mrs. J.L. Seymour, Biloxi; four half brothers, Claude, Van, Frank, and Roy Cruthirds, Latimer; a half sister, Mrs. Rachel Richards, Latimer, and numerous other relatives, including 34 grandchildren.
She was a member of the Fort Bayou Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 10 am Thursday with services by Rev. Vaughn of the Vancleave Baptist Church and burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
