He was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by wife, Mary Ruth Hammontree Brown; brothers, Lionell Brown and Glennis Brown and Merton Elwin Brown(FAG#80605916); parents, Ivan and Agnes Brown. Survived by nieces, Ms. Cathy Taylor, Carole Normogle, Jewal Hammontree Hood and Wanda Hammontree; great niece, Michelle Knight. Entombment service 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rev. J. Steven Musick officiating.
