Guy McDill was the son of Mathew Francis McDill and Josephine Brent; the husband of Margaret "Annie" Bethune; He was born in Moscow,(Goat Shed) Jefferson Co, AR and moved to Lake Village in 1918. He was owner of the McDill Radio and Television Shop; had farming interest at Grady, AR; was a City Alderman in Lake Village from 1951 to 1959. He died Sunday, 28th of June, 1959 in the Lake Village Infirmary after suffering a heart attack an hour earlier at his home.
He was survived by his wife Annie; sons Edward, Guy, and James; two brothers, Joel Alexander, Claude; four grandchildren, Amy Kay, Edward Jr, Lela Ann and Guy III (Buddy).
