Graveside service for Geraldine P. Hughes, 68, of Alvord was Monday at the Crafton Norwood Cemetery in Crafton with Earnest Patterson officiating.
Hughes died Saturday, April 12, 2002, at her home. She married Jack Eugene Hughes Feb. 5, 1949, in Bay Saint Louis, Miss. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Jack Clifford Hughes of Alvord and Jon Erin Hughes of Balsora; three daughters, Carroll Lynn Stephenson of Park Springs, Kathy Rynn Rieke of Vienna, S. D., and Allison Margo Lawson of Mesquite; a brother, Albert Patterson of Alvord; a sister, Frances Layton of Kilgore; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
