Born in Scott County, December 13, 1941, she was preceded in death by her parents, Segal and Nova Terry Phillips; one brother, Grover Terry; and one infant sister.
She was a born again Christian, and was a member of Helenwood Baptist Church. She was also a member of Sapphire Chapter #259 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, Fred K. Phillips of Helenwood; one son, Danny Ray Phillips of Helenwood; one daughter, Cheryl Parrish and husband, Craig, of Springdale, Ark.; two grandchildren, five sisters: Maxine Terry and husband, Leslie, of Gallatin, Judy Smith of Wartburg, Vera Hancock Slaven and husband, R.O., Velma Caldwell, and Leda Burress, all of Oneida; sisters- and brothers-in-law: Pauline Terry of Clinton, Judy Matthews and husband, Allen, of Oneida, Linda Cecil and husband, Roger, of Helenwood, Ron Phillips and wife, Laura, of Knoxville, and Tony Phillips of Albuquerque, NM; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted November 13, at Helenwood Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Cecil officiating. Music was provided by Helenwood Baptist Church Choir. Interment followed at Daniel Memorial Cemetery.
