Mary Frances Long, 89, of Bokeelia, FL was born May 17, 1916 in Whiteville, NC went home to Jesus and to be with her grandson, Lil Bobby Holloway.
Mary moved to Pine Island in 1960, a widow with 6 children. She created a successful shell business, Island Shells & Gifts which is still operated by her son. Mary loved Pine Island and its people.
She dedicated her life to her children, Lucian Long, Woody Long, Larry Long, Elvis Long, Ernestine Squires and Frankie Ivy who survive. She also leaves to cherish her memory 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and the staff at Cape Coral Rehabilitation Center whom loved her and took such great care of her.
Visitation will be held SATURDAY, Feb. 11, 2006 from 5-7 PM in the chapel of Coral Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held MONDAY, Feb. 13, 2006 at 11 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Tommy officiating. Interment will follow in Coral Ridge Cemetery.
