Martin O. Bailey was born January 18, 1916 in Greentop, the son of Walter and Erma Anspach Bailey. Mr. Bailey, 71, formerly of Greentop, Macon and Bevier, died Monday night, January 4, 1988 in a nursing home in St. Louis.
He married Bonnie Hays.
Surviving are six children, Ronnie, Terry, Janet, Sharron, Carolyn and Rodney; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bailey had been employed with Sutton Ford Garage in Macon and at the Shelbina Ford dealership.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 8, 1988 in Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Burial was in the New Cambria Cemetery.
